Hydrogen Cleaner power on massive scale

$150bn to 2030 are needed, representing a wide range of investment opportunities in listed and private companies.

Hydrogen will self-impose as one of the most important sources of energy in the world, for transportation and housing markets. If hydrogen should stay as a complement of battery electric vehicles, we have more chances to see Hydrogen commercial aircraft flying in the sky than commercial airplanes full of batteries. This forecast is also mainly valid regarding buses, trucks, boats, and trains.

The full scale of Hydrogen deployment will be reached between 2030 and 2050. Our global approach and our partner in Private Equity allow our company to advise both, listed equity strategy (Absolute Return) and Private Equity investments. Listed and Private equity can be combined in one strategy.

More about this image

A value-chain diagram running left to right. Production covers electrolysis and reforming with carbon capture. Storage and distribution covers compression, liquefaction, pipelines and shipping. End-use covers heavy transport — buses, trucks, trains, shipping and aviation — together with industrial heat and residential heating.

Aviation and heavy freight sit at the far end because they are the uses where batteries are least adequate, which is where the thesis places the durable demand.
